I sat down last night and opened a blank document. Not a new book…yet. A blank document that will contain all my thoughts and ideas for a new book, just blurted out straight into it. And then the research starts. The name choosing. The nailing down of ideas and fleshing of characters – everything I need to know who these characters are.
And then the writing begins.
At the same time, I’ve revisiting my Grimm Agency world, looking at what is either a short novella or a long short story set after “Free Agent” but before the sequel. New worlds are fun, but so is going back to worlds and characters that just fit together and telling new stories.
New series, or sequels? Which do you prefer?
